Quick answer
Cal Hampton is a fictional GTA VI character: Jason Duval's paranoid, conspiracy-minded friend who hangs at home snooping on Coast Guard radio.
Bio
Everything in this bio comes from Rockstar's official GTA VI material. We don't use leaks or rumors.
Who is Cal Hampton?
Rockstar introduces Cal with the question "What if everything on the internet was true?" He is Jason Duval's friend and, per Rockstar, "a fellow associate of Brian's," which links him to Keys drug runner Brian Heder. Cal feels safest at home, "snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open."
Personality
Rockstar's quotes paint Cal as a casual conspiracy theorist. Lines on his official profile include "There are way too many birds flying around in perfect formation" and "The psychopaths are in charge. Get used to it." Rockstar sums him up as being "at the low tide of America and happy there."
Role in the story
Rockstar says Cal's "casual paranoia loves company, but his friend Jason has bigger plans." That sets him up as a contrast to Jason, someone content to stay put while Jason and Lucia Caminos chase something bigger. Rockstar hasn't said more about his part in the plot.
Voice actor and inspiration
Rockstar hasn't officially named the actor who plays this character, and Polygon has said the voice cast isn't confirmed. No real-life inspiration has been officially documented either. Any names you see online are unconfirmed, and we'll update this bio when Rockstar confirms more.
