Bio

Officer Eddie Pulaski is one of the corrupt cops in San Andreas. He works under Frank Tenpenny in the C.R.A.S.H. anti-gang unit of the Los Santos Police Department. He's voiced by actor Chris Penn, known for Reservoir Dogs and Footloose. Penn died in 2006, and San Andreas was one of his last widely seen roles.

Tenpenny is the planner and the talker. Pulaski is the muscle: crude, aggressive and openly cruel. Alongside the more reluctant officer Jimmy Hernandez, he helps Tenpenny keep CJ under control from the moment CJ lands in Los Santos. The unit threatens CJ with a murder they've pinned on him and uses that to force him into dirty jobs.

Pulaski spends much of the story taking part in the C.R.A.S.H. scheme. The officers protect the crack trade, cover up their own crimes, and lean on Grove Street members to do their dirty work.

Spoiler warning: In the countryside chapter, during the mission "High Noon," Tenpenny and Pulaski kill Hernandez after learning he has been talking to internal affairs, and they force CJ to dig the grave. Pulaski then tries to kill CJ as well. CJ chases him through the countryside and kills him, ending his part in the story.

Pulaski isn't the main villain, but Chris Penn's menacing performance makes him one of the game's most memorable antagonists. He shows how C.R.A.S.H.'s corruption went beyond Tenpenny himself.

Pulaski is fictional. Chris Penn's voice credit is documented in the San Andreas credits and on Behind The Voice Actors.
