What Patrick Bet-David said

"I'm looking at this house in Boca and a house was at $25 million," Bet-David recalls. He says the agent came in giving off "a very, very horrible vibe," and he told his wife Jenn, "There's something about... I just don't like this guy."

He still made "a $21 million offer." The counter came back at "$24.5 million." His reaction: "Forget about it. I'm out." He says the agent kept calling, but "I don't like the way he deals."

A year later, he says, the agent approached him at an event in Miami: "You could have had it." Bet-David says he answered, "You sold it for 17 million. You should have taken my first offer."

About the Alexander brothers

Oren and Tal Alexander were prominent luxury real estate brokers in New York and Miami. On March 9, 2026, a federal jury in Manhattan found them and their brother Alon Alexander guilty of sex trafficking and related federal charges; they had pleaded not guilty (U.S. Attorney's Office, SDNY). On Oct. 27, 2026, each was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni (AP News). Bet-David's story is about a home negotiation and is not connected to the criminal case.
