Quick answer
Winter's real name is Kim Min-jeong (Korean: 김민정). Born January 1, 2001, she is a singer and dancer in the SM Entertainment girl group aespa.
Real name and stage name
Winter (윈터) is the stage name of Kim Min-jeong (김민정). The name is an English word rather than a form of her Korean name.
Kim Min-jeong was born on January 1, 2001. She is a member of aespa, which debuted under SM Entertainment in November 2020 alongside Karina, Giselle and Ningning. Aespa built its early identity around virtual avatars and a storyline about a digital world, and it became one of the most successful girl groups of the fourth generation of K-pop.
In January 2022 Winter became a member of Got the Beat, SM's supergroup of female singers. She performs there with Taeyeon, Seulgi, Wendy and bandmate Karina.
Within aespa she is known mainly as a vocalist, and many fans and Korean media single out her stable live singing. Soompi, the Korea Herald and other outlets cover aespa's comebacks and her individual activities, including variety and brand work.
Like Karina, she uses an English name instead of her Korean given name, so her stage name gives no direct clue to her legal name.
The answer to the question many people search is simple: Winter's real name is Kim Min-jeong.
