Bio

Cesar Vialpando is the leader of the Varrios Los Aztecas gang and one of CJ's most loyal allies in San Andreas. He's voiced by actor Clifton Collins Jr.

Cesar is the boyfriend of CJ's sister Kendl, and CJ starts out wary of him. Their first meeting is tense because CJ doesn't trust him with his sister. But Cesar quickly proves himself. He's into lowrider cars, he races, and he becomes a key partner to CJ on and off the Grove Street streets.

Cesar's loyalty matters most when things go wrong. After the ambush that leaves Sweet arrested, Cesar is the one who tips CJ off about who betrayed Grove Street, and he follows CJ when he's forced out of Los Santos. He also introduces CJ to his cousin Catalina, who sends CJ on robberies in the countryside of Red County.

Cesar stays with CJ throughout the game and helps him in San Fierro and Las Venturas. When CJ returns to Los Santos, Cesar fights alongside him during the final events.

Unlike many GTA allies, Cesar never betrays the hero. Fans see him as one of the most trustworthy friends in the series, a contrast with Big Smoke and Ryder. Cesar is fictional, but Clifton Collins Jr.'s credit is listed in the official game credits.
