Bio

Dimitri Rascalov is a Russian mobster and one of the main villains in GTA IV. He's voiced by Moti Margolin.

Dimitri is the right-hand man of Mikhail Faustin, a Russian mob boss in Liberty City. Niko Bellic meets them both while trying to settle his cousin Roman's debts. Dimitri seems calm and sensible next to Faustin, who's unstable and violent, and he appears to be a reasonable man in a dangerous world.

Dimitri is actually a ruthless schemer. As Faustin becomes more erratic, Dimitri pressures Niko to kill his own boss and then double-crosses Niko, siding with the dangerous gangster Ray Bulgarin, who has history with Niko. From that point on, Dimitri becomes Niko's enemy, and he keeps coming back to make Niko's life harder.

Dimitri's betrayal drives much of the GTA IV story. He has Roman's cab business burned down, he sends gunmen after Niko and Roman, and he forces the two cousins to flee to Algonquin. His role in the story is shaped by the game's big moral choice near the end, which decides how his story finishes.

Dimitri is a classic GTA villain, a quiet, cold man who uses others for his own gain. He's fictional, and Moti Margolin's credit is listed in the official credits for GTA IV.
