Huang Lee is the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, released for Nintendo DS in 2009 and later for PSP and mobile. The game is set in GTA IV's version of Liberty City, but it uses a top-down view and comic-style cutscenes.

Huang is the son of a Triad boss in Hong Kong. When his father is murdered, Huang is sent to Liberty City to deliver an ancient family sword, the Yu Jian, to his uncle Wu "Kenny" Lee. By family tradition the sword stays with the head of the family, though Huang admits his father actually won it in a card game. Kenny plans to give it to Triad leader Hsin Jaoming to win favor.

Things go wrong immediately. As soon as Huang arrives, he's ambushed, robbed of the sword, shot and dumped in the water to die. He survives and starts working for his uncle and other Liberty City criminals, trying to get the sword back and find out who set him up.

Huang is sarcastic, cocky and a rich kid who grew up with privilege. His jokes give the game much of its humor. His story also has darker turns, as he finds out that someone close to him was involved in the betrayal.

Chinatown Wars is also known for a detailed drug-dealing system, where players buy and sell drugs across the city, and for its touchscreen mini-games.
