Bio

Lester Crest is the hacker and heist planner in GTA V. He's voiced by Jay Klaitz.

Lester is a brilliant but anxious man who rarely leaves his house. He spends most of his time behind computer screens. He's an old associate of Michael De Santa from his bank-robbing days, and he knows the truth about Michael's past.

When Michael has to pay back a debt, Lester is the one who helps him plan the jobs that bring him back into crime. Lester organizes the heists, chooses the crews and works out the details, while Michael, Franklin and Trevor carry them out. Each heist has different approaches, and Lester presents them to the player.

Lester also gives Franklin a series of assassination missions, starting with the Hotel Assassination of Bilkinton Research CEO Brett Lowrey. Each hit moves share prices on the game's BAWSAQ and LCN markets, and players famously use them to turn all three leads into in-game billionaires.

He's fictional, but Jay Klaitz's credit is listed in the official GTA V credits.
