Bio

Little Jacob is a Jamaican dealer in GTA IV who becomes one of Niko Bellic's most loyal friends. He's voiced by Coolie Ranx, a Jamaican-American reggae and ska artist.

Jacob is a small-time weed dealer and gunrunner working out of Liberty City's Broker area with his friend Real Badman. Niko meets him early in the story, and the two become close. Jacob's heavy Jamaican patois is hard to understand at first, both for Niko and for many players, and that became a running joke among fans.

Despite the language barrier, Jacob is one of the people Niko trusts most. He's a calm, loyal friend who always has Niko's back. When Niko needs weapons, Jacob sells them to him from the trunk of his car, and when Niko needs help in a firefight, Jacob shows up. That makes him one of the most useful allies in the game.

Unlike many GTA allies, Jacob never betrays the hero. He stays a steady friend throughout GTA IV, through all of Niko's troubles, the deaths and the final missions.

Little Jacob has become a fan favorite, and many players count him among the best side characters in the series. He's fictional, and Coolie Ranx's credit is listed in the official GTA IV credits.
