Bio

Sean "Sweet" Johnson is CJ's older brother and the leader of the Grove Street Families in San Andreas. He's voiced by actor and comedian Faizon Love.

Sweet is the opposite of the brother who left. While CJ was in Liberty City, Sweet stayed in Los Santos trying to keep the Grove Street Families alive as rivals took over and drugs tore the neighborhood apart. When CJ comes home for their mother's funeral, Sweet is angry. He blames CJ for leaving, and he makes CJ prove that he's loyal to the family and to the gang.

Sweet is principled. He hates the crack trade that's wrecking Grove Street, and he refuses to let the gang deal drugs. That stance makes him a target, because some of his closest friends are secretly working with the Ballas and the corrupt officers behind the drug trade.

Halfway through the game, Sweet is badly hurt and arrested in an ambush that the traitors in the gang set up. CJ is sent out of Los Santos, and much of his journey through San Andreas is about getting back to help his brother. When CJ finally returns, the brothers fight together to reclaim the neighborhood.

Sweet's fierce sense of loyalty is a big part of San Andreas' heart. Fans also quote him often, especially his angry complaints to CJ. Faizon Love's credit for the role is listed in the official game credits.
