What Rockstar has officially confirmed

Rockstar shared GTA VI in a few big drops: Trailer 1 (December 2023), Trailer 2 with the official character and location pages (May 6, 2025), and the Launch Trailer (October 15, 2026). Together with Take-Two's investor releases, these sources confirm:

Has the GTA VI voice cast been announced?

No. Rockstar hasn't named any actor for Jason, Lucia or anyone else in GTA VI. The official site, the character profiles and the PlayStation and Xbox store listings don't credit any performers. Names circulating online for the two leads are fan theories, and we don't list them. We'll update this page once Rockstar announces a cast or the game's official credits are public after launch. For the documented casts of earlier games, see GTA voice actors.

Map and setting: Leonida and Vice City

Vice City is the series' version of Miami. It first appeared in the original Grand Theft Auto (1997) and was the setting for GTA: Vice City (2002, set in 1986) and Vice City Stories (2006, set in 1984). GTA VI brings it into the present day as part of a whole fictional state, Leonida, which Rockstar describes as "the darkest side of the sunniest place in America."

Rockstar's official "Only in Leonida" pages name these regions:

Vice City: the neon-lit city at the heart of the game
Leonida Keys: a tropical island chain based on the Florida Keys, where Jason lives and works
Grassrivers: wetlands inspired by the Everglades
Port Gellhorn: a run-down "forgotten coast" vacation town
Ambrosia: an inland industrial town with a sugar refinery and a local biker gang
Mount Kalaga National Park: forests and backcountry in the north

Rockstar hasn't published an official map size.
